ROCHESTER - Phyllis Arlene Myhre, 84, died peacefully Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home. She was born April 5, 1934 in Rochester, the daughter of Richard and Helena (Davis) Olson.
She worked as a stitcher in the shoe industry and also was an accomplished cake decorator. She was an excellent seamstress and made elaborate clothing for antique dolls. Her sense of humor brightened every ones lives and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Kenneth Myhre of Rochester; a daughter, Paula Ting-Downing and her husband Robert of Concord; grandson Benjamin Ting and his wife Patsy; granddaughter Arlene Boydin; two great-grandchildren Emily Ting and Andrew Ting; several cousins, including Jane Dunk, who was like a sister to her.
She was a member of the Harvest of Praise Church of God in Rochester.
