SOUTH LEBANON, Maine - State Police on Thursday said they are following up on several leads in last week's Hometown Mobil robbery, but have no specific suspect or person of interest yet.

The heist unfolded around 5:55 p.m. last Saturday when police say a masked man entered the Route 202 convenience store, brandished a small black handgun, and demanded cash.

The suspect then left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a black sedan headed toward East Rochester, N.H., State Trooper Ben Handzel said.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'8" tall and 170 pounds. Handzel on Thursday wouldn't say whether police had learned the state of origin revealed on the car's plates.

No one was injured in the incident, Handzel said.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is encouraged to contact Trooper Handzel at (207) 624-7076. Tips can be anonymous.
