ROCHESTER - A transient in the city was arrested Thursday night in the stabbing of a man in the Walgreen's parking lot on South Main.

Police responded to the area around 10:50 p.m. for a reported stabbing that had just occurred.

Officers made contact with a 26-year-old-male victim who had been stabbed twice, once in the abdomen and again in the chest.

Frisbie EMS took the victim to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

The suspect had already fled the scene, but was found on Olde Farm Lane shortly before midnight.

David M. Hussey, 48, was charged with two counts of Second Degree Assault (class B Felonies), with bail set at $10,000 cash.

Hussey is scheduled for arraignment this afternoon.

Police say this was not a random act; Hussey and the victim arrived together, then appeared to get into an argument prior to the stabbing.
