Police on lookout for suspect in Somersworth robbery

SOMERSWORTH - Police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect in an armed robbery that took place Monday at the Nouria Energy Gulf Station at 420 Route 108.

Somersworth police responded around 10:10 a.m. and found that the suspect entered the business a few minutes earlier, brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect left the store after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

A K-9 unit from the Rochester Police responded to the scene but no track could be developed.

The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, mask and mittens

The case is being investigated by the Somersworth Police Department and Investigations Division. Anyone with information is encouraged to call police at 603-692-3131 or anonymously to the Crime Line at 603-692-9111.
