Police seek suspect in Eastside Dunkin' Donuts robbery

EAST ROCHESTER - Police are on the lookout today for a man wanted in the armed robbery of the Highland Street Dunkin' Donuts on Sunday.

The suspect is said to have walked into the Eastside eatery around 6:15 p.m., covered his face with his shirt and demanded cash from a counter employee.

The suspect warned the employee he had a gun although no weapon was shown.

After taking cash from a register he fled on foot west on Highland Street.

A K-9 unit was called but no track was found.

The subject is described as being about 6 feet tall wearing black jeans, a black jacket with a hood, a black hat and white sneakers.

Members of the Rochester Police Department Investigative Services Bureau are investigating this incident.
