Police seeking public's help in identifying driver in hit-and-run

ROCHESTER - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a female who caused significant damage to a parked car at Walmart on Tuesday.

The incident occurred around 5 p.m. when a female returns to her vehicle, described as a dark colored mid-sized pickup with two orange stripes along the sides of it, and strikes a Nissan Sentra as she is leaving.

The driver then dragged the Nissan about a foot before the two vehicles separated whereupon the female continues on out of the parking lot.

Rochester Police are asking anyone who may have information to call the police department 603-330-7128. For anonymous tips that lead to an arrest tipsters could receive up to $1,000 cash reward through Rochester Crimeline by calling 603-335-6500. Tipsters can also text the Rochester Crimeline at Crimes (274637) in the body write TEXT4CASH followed by your tip. The case number is 18-5238-OF, and the lead investigator is Officer Marvin.
