ROCHESTER - A woman allegedly selling drugs in a Rochester business' parking lot on Thursday was arrested by police.

Becky Henshaw, 38, of 117 Wakefield St., Rochester, was charged with felony possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute, felony possession of a controlled drug, DUI, driving after suspension or revocation and a lane control violation.

The arrest occurred as Strafford County Drug Task Force members along with Rochester Police Department detectives were conducting surveillance for illegal drug activity.

During the course of this surveillance officers noticed Henshaw whom they recognized from previous contacts. As they monitored her behavior they observed her conducting hand to hand drug transactions in the parking lot of a local business.

Officers also learned she was operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.

After a traffic stop on Wakefield Street she was pulled over and arrested.

Henshaw was taken to Strafford County Jail where she was held on $10,000 cash bail pending an arraignment on Friday.

She remains at the jail today on the same $10,000 bail. If she comes up with the cash a hearing will be held to ensure it does not come from drug sale profits.
