LEBANON - Richard "Dick" Ernest Cormier, 86, of Pickerel Road, died Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Hyder House, Dover, N.H., after a brief illness. Born November 19, 1929, in Lynn, Mass., he was the son of Ernest John Cormier and Florence (Vienneau) Cormier.
Raised in Lynn he entered the Army in 1947 where he served for seventeen months. In 1960 he moved to Lebanon.
Dick was an accomplished wood carver and he loved motorcycle touring. He was willing to help anyone on any project. Dick built many stone walls, enjoyed fishing, and was a humorous story teller.
He is survived by a son Kenneth Esdra of Salem, Mass.; a brother, Alan Cormier and his wife Paula of Newburyport, Mass.; a sister, Susan LeJeunne of Ipswich, Mass.; five nieces and nephews; and many good friends. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Esdra.
