ROCHESTER - Richard "Dick" Mullikin, SSGT, USAF, Ret., 83, of Rochester, died on Monday, July 30, 2018 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on February 2, 1935 in upstate New York to Daniel and Elizabeth (Hackman) Mullikin. Dick was one of 10 children.
Dick retired from the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant, after 20 years of service. Following his retirement, he was employed for Boston Machinery, the Portsmouth Hospital as a security guard and at the Portsmouth City Hall as a custodian and maintenance department.
Dick was a very competitive person and loved sports, excelling in basketball, baseball, golf, bowling and horse shoes. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and could irritate Red Sox fans to no end.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Matthew Danforth.
