DOVER - Richard Albert Forcier, Sr., 82, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home, with his family by his side. Born June 23, 1935 the son of Albert and Marion (Peavey) Forcier.
Richard owned and operated several variety stores throughout his life, as well as serving many years in the Army National Guard. He was also a member of the Dover Elks for many years.
Richard is predeceased by his parents and sister Lorraine Gordon.
He is survived by his children Robert and wife Brenda Forcier, Laurie and husband Kevin Goff, Richard and wife Jureen Cook, and Dianne Jewell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Richard is also survived by his siblings Donald Forcier, Annette Lamb, and Robert Coulombe.
