ROCHESTER - Robert E. Labrecque, 85, of Rochester, died on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital after a brief illness. He was born September 10, 1933 in Somersworth, the son of the late Amedee and Almoza (Gagne) Labrecque.
He attended Somersworth schools and proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Robert worked as a truck driver for Cocheco Bottling Company then for Prime Tanning in the mixing department for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #7 and the Rochester Lodge of Elks #1393. His hobbies include watching the Patriots, Red Sox and horseracing at local fairs. Bob enjoyed going to Foxwoods and traveling with his wife. They spent many enjoyable years at camp with family, friends and neighbors.
Members of his family include his loving wife of 62 years, Janet (Boivin) Labrecque; daughter, Nancy Labrecque; brother, Gerard Labrecque; sister, Janet Frost; godchild, Wanda Chase; and granddog, "Sable". He was predeceased by brothers, Paul and Joseph.
