ROCHESTER - Robert Henry Skinner, 73, of Rochester, N.H., died on September 28, 2016. He was the son of James Skinner and Hazel Strickland Skinner Dodge. Born on April 14, 1943, in Atlanta, Ga., Robert moved to N.H., at the age of seven.
He graduated from Farmington High School and served in the US Army. He worked at Davidson Rubber for 30 years and lived with his son, Robert Daniel Skinner. Robert loved Nascar, traveling and reading.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Skinner and Hazel Skinner Dodge, brother, William Skinner and grand-son Daniel Theriault.
He was a son, brother, husband, father, grand-father, uncle and friend. Robert is survived by his children, Margaret Ann Skinner and Robert Daniel Skinner both of Rochester. Sisters, Polly DeMeester of Rochester, Gloria Buck of Demopolis, Ala. , two brothers, David Skinner of Rochester and Bruce Dodge of Lawrence, Mass., his ex-wife, Edna Skinner of Rochester, and two grandsons, Keith and Aaron Theriault of Farmington, with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
