LEBANON, Maine - Robert W. Chamberlain, 78, of 250 Shapleigh Road, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Colonial Hill Center in Rochester, N.H. He was born September 23, 1938 in Rochester, N.H., the son of Cleon and Phyllis (Laskey) Cilley.
He has resided in Lebanon for the past 20 years previously living in Rochester where he worked at Colby Footwear and Therrien's Furniture. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post #7 and had served in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed canoeing in his 1927 Old Town canoe. He was an avid fan of the Patriot's and Red Sox.
Members of his family include son, Robert and wife Lisa Chamberlain, Somersworth; daughters, Lisa Heines and husband Joe, Farmington, N.H., Lori Boucher and husband Joe, Rollinsford, N.H.; five grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Cilley, Kenny Cilley, William Cilley; half brother, Richard Cilley; sister, Carol Wakefield, N.H., and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Hill Center especially, Nicole and Crystal; the Compassus Hospice and Rebecca Pellowe and a very, very special thank you to his caregiver, Linda Berry.
