ROCHESTER - Once again the True Memorial Baptist Church will be offering a free home cooked Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

The dinner hours are noon-3 p.m. and include all the fixings.

If anyone needs to have a meal delivered they are asked to call by Monday to let them know.

If anyone one would like to donate they may call the office at 332-3131.

Last year more than 300 meals were delivered to homebound or elderly people and about 300 meals were served at the church.

The amount of food to be prepared is staggering: some 30 turkeys, 250 pounds of squash, 200 pounds of potatoes, 16 gallons of gravy and 70 pies.

A core of about 35 volunteers will begin food preparations today.

If you plan to drive to the church, no reservations are necessary.

The church is located at 21 Ten Rod Road.
