Rochester Main Street hands out awards at annual event

ROCHESTER - Rochester Main Street presented its annual awards for outstanding achievement in improving Rochester's downtown at a breakfast program at Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Conference Center on Thursday.

Best New Business went to Peach's Candy and Confection, run by Kayla Peach and her mother, Missy.

Best New Sign went to Fresh Vibes Café, owned by Kris Enis.

Business of the Year went to Studley's Flower Gardens, co-owned by Molly Meulenbroek.

Volunteer of the Year awards went to Spaulding High School student Matt Winders and Rochester resident Glenn Watt.

Other awards went to Rochester Farmers Market, Community Partner Award; Christine Connors, Golden Pitchfork award; Jeff Bisson, 2017 Main Street board member of the year; and Rochester Performance Arts Center, Golden Hammer Award.
