Rochester man cited in collision with motorcycle

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man whose car collided with a motorcycle on Monday was cited for failure to yield.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Washington Street and Estes Road around 3:45 p.m. Rochester Police say the 2005 Honda VTX driven by Timothy Mckee , 56, of Strafford, was heading east on Washington Street and struck the rear quarter panel of a 2005 Ford F-150, which was driven by Joshua Ouellette, 29, of 27 Westview Drive, as he was taking a left onto Estes Road.

When the two vehicles collided Mckee was thrown off his motorcycle.

Mckee, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries and was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Officers summonsed Ouellette for failure to yield the right of way.

The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

The Rochester Police are asking anyone who may have information that could assist with this investigation, to call the Rochester Police Department at 330-7128.
