DOVER - The Rochester man who threatened his domestic partner with what appeared to be a loaded gun while saying, "So this is how it's going to be" was sentenced on Monday to at least one year in the Strafford County Jail.

Gary Wentworth, 48, with a last known address of Portland Street, was sentenced to three concurrent one-year sentences in connection with three simple assault counts he pleaded guilty to earlier.

The felony criminal threatening charge for the chilling statement referenced above in connection with the December 2015 incident drew a one and a half to three-year suspended sentence that will be ultimately dropped if he has no contact with the victim and follows all other Dept. of Corrections instructions.
