ALFRED, Maine - A Rochester, N.H., man has been indicted in Maine on child endangerment and criminal threatening charges in connection with a September incident in Hollis.

Sean Berry, 36, of 9 Pickering Road, Apt. 1, was also charged with criminal mischief in the Sept. 19 incident.

The criminal threatening charge was in connection with the use of a deadly weapon. It's the most serious of the three charges, a Class C felony punishable by at least five years in state prison. The other two charges are Class D felonies, punishable by a year in county jail each.

The York County grand jury indictments were handed down on Jan. 9 and released last Friday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to warrant moving forward with trial.

Maine State Police were not immediately available to comment on the case.
