Rochester Police nab 2 suspects thanks to assist from Somersworth PD

ROCHESTER - Two men were arrested on Thursday on outstanding warrants from separate charges after being picked up by Somersworth Police and handed over to Rochester PD.

Robert L. Ranahan Jr., 23, was arrested for alleged criminal trespass for being inside the Rochester Walmart after being served a no-trespass order for a May 7 theft incident and felony theft from a building.

Meanwhile, Isles D. Maskell, 27, of 97 Jamey Dr., East Rochester, was charged with conduct after an accident and negligent driving in connection with a hit-and-run incident on Salmon Falls Road on Oct. 30; and a separate warrant for allegedly fighting with another man on Farmington Road near the Rochester Walmart on Nov. 1, Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said today.

Both men were handed over to Rochester Police just before noon on Thursday and bailed and released pending separate future arraignments.

The circumstances under which the two suspects were picked up in Somersworth were not immediately available.
