ROCHESTER - The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts will be presenting one of its heralded "pop-up" art shows featuring the work of local artist Beth Wittenberg beginning Saturday.

Wittenberg is a contemporary artist currently living and working in the Seacoast area. She earned a degree in philosophy and a master of fine arts from Maryland Institute College of Art.

Wittenberg is inspired by outsider art and children's art. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in a variety of venues.

This is Wittenberg's third downtown pop-up show with the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts. Visit www.bethwittenberg.com for more information.

Her works will be displayed on North Main Street (next to Riverstone's Custom Framing) starting Saturday. This exhibit is sponsored by the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts and Jetpack Comic & Games. Visit www.rochestermfa.org for more information.

The pop-up art series is designed to make use of vacant or dark storefronts as artist venues to further enhance the city's attractiveness and cultural vitality.
