ROCHESTER - The city of Rochester announced today it will be holding a dedication ceremony for a new POW/MIA Missing Man display later this month.

The event is set for June 21 at 9 a.m. at City Hall.

As part of the proceeding, Gordon Oliver, chaplain of the Rochester Veteran's Council, will be performing the ceremony at a new POW/MIA Missing Man Table display, which will consist of a table and chair.

The chair was donated by the Rolling Thunder Veterans Organization, while the Public Works Department will donate a table and table settings to complete the display.

Together, the two donations are meant to honor all of America's prisoners of war and personnel missing in action.

"We want to honor all those who serve in our military, especially those who were unable to return home to their families," said City Manager Fitzpatrick. "By creating this display at City Hall, we hope to keep their memory alive."

The public is invited to attend.
