DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester woman has been indicted in a felony assault in which she allegedly struck another woman in the mouth with a wooden board, causing her to lose several teeth.

Ashley Boulanger, who turns 22 New Year's Day, of 5 Fourth St., is charged with two counts of second degree assault in the Sept. 11 assault that allegedly occurred on Winter Street shortly before midnight.

According to court records, the board was considered a deadly weapon and the victim lost four teeth in the attack.

If convicted on both counts, Boulanger faces up to 14 years in state prison.

The December indictments were handed down Dec. 18 and released last week.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
