CONCORD - A Rochester woman was in federal court on Monday pleading guilty to aiding and abetting the distribution of fentanyl.
According to court documents and statements made in court, Tasha Loaiza, 25, met with a cooperating individual on April 17 and directed them to an address in Manchester, where she introduced the cooperating individual to a third person, from whom the individual bought a quantity of fentanyl.
Loaiza is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
"Fentanyl trafficking is a complex criminal activity that often involves many individuals," said U.S. Attorney Scott W. Murray. "Those who participate in the distribution of this deadly drug will be held accountable for their conduct. In order to maintain public safety and the quality of life in New Hampshire, we will work with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who are responsible for selling fentanyl and other deadly opioids."
In 2014 Loaiza, who then lived on Norway Plains, was charged with robbing a Rochester woman of money, a computer tablet and prescription drugs on June 15. She was assisted by accomplice Okiemute "Leo" Omatie, 19, of Fifth Street, Dover.
Loazia was also charged in July of the same year with shoplifting shoes at Bootleggers in Rochester.
