Rochester women gets PR in witness tamper case

DOVER - A Rochester woman charged with witness tampering in the upcoming murder trial of accused killer Tristan Wolusky was arraigned on Monday and released on personal recognizance.

Alexandria Wyant, 21, of Rochester, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony conspiracy to commit tampering with witnesses and informants in connection with the Aaron Wilkinson murder case.

Wolusky and two co-defendants, Zachary "D.J." Pinette, 19, of 5B Rankin St., Springvale, Maine; and Michael Tatum, 22, of 236 Young Road, Barrington, are accused of killing Wilkinson last June in the driveway of his Madbury home.

Court testimony revealed that Wyant is alleged to have had illegal communication with Wolusky.

Prosecutors would not release the nature of the conversation or how it was carried out.

As part of her bail conditions, Wyant was made to give up her cell phone.

Pinette pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and falsifying physical evidence earlier this month, and Tatum is scheduled to plead guilty to second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and falsifying physical evidence on April 24. Both are expected to testify against Wolusky at his June trial.
