ROH scares up reprise of Halloween hoot 'Rocky Horror'

ROCHESTER - Rocky Horror is coming back to the Rochester Opera House for a second straight year of Halloween fun.

This dark comedic cult favorite, a humorous satirical tribute to the Science Fiction and Horror 'B Movies' of the late 1940s to early 1970s, tells the story of a newly engaged couple seeking refuge from a storm in the bizarre home of a mad transvestite scientist: Dr. Frank N. Furter. The unsuspecting couple arrives just in time for Frank to unveil his new creation, a muscle man named Rocky Horror.
Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show is a Rochester Opera House Production, directed by Danica Carlson, featuring shadow acting with the original film combined with live music and a cast of 15. The Rocky Horror Show is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.
