ROCHESTER - Rose B. Lemire died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 19, 2017. She was born in Rochester on April 9, 1941 to Wilfred and Irene (Letendre) Raymond.
In her younger years Rose loved to go to the movies and roller-skating with her brothers. She enjoyed camping with her cousins and enjoyed any adventure she and Maryellen, her childhood best friend, could do.
She met Donald A. Lemire and the two were married November 17, 1962. They spent 52 years together before his sudden passing in 2015.
Rose worked at Riverside Nursing Home as a dietary aide for 30 years. Something she would still be doing to this day if her health had not started declining.
Always up for an adventure, she would go, go, go, take a nap and then keep on going. She was able to accomplish two most important items on her "list", swim with the dolphins in 2016, watch a rocket launch in 2017. She lived her life to the fullest.
She was predeceased by a sister, Priscilla Papa and a brother, Normand Raymond.
Rose leaves behind her two daughters and their families, Karen and Mark Hudson of Sanbornville and Katherine and George Lloyd of Rochester; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Diane Raymond and Robert and Charlotte Raymond both of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
