DOVER - Rose (Krol) Gloski, a resident of the St. Ann Home in Dover and formerly of 5 Pratt St., Millers Falls, Mass., died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Rose was born in Montague, Mass., on October 15, 1921, the daughter of Walter and Mary Krol.
Rose was a graduate of Turners Falls High School and Empire Beauty School. She was a hair dresser at the Deluxe Beauty Salon in Turners Falls where she worked with her sisters for 40 years.
Rose was a communicant at St. John's Church in Millers Falls, and a member of the Holy Rosary Society and Polish Women's Alliance at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Turners Falls. Rose was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. Her home was a gathering place where she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her hobbies included playing cards and singing.
In her later years at the St. Ann Home, Rose's beautiful singing voice was enjoyed by both staff and residents. Her grace and positive attitude defined her. Rose enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy and of whom she was so proud.
Rose leaves behind a family who loved her so much including her son David and his wife, Gina, of Shirley, Mass., and Bethel Island, Calif.; and her daughter, Donna Cushing and her husband, George, of Milton, N.H. Rose also leaves five grandchildren, Tyler Gloski and Troy Gloski of Shirley and Bethel Island, Alana Cushing-Long and her husband Jamie of Dover, N.H., Courtney Sirotin and her husband Jason of Roswall, Ga., Kelly Redman and her husband Ben of Dover, N.H. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren, Ryder, Dylan, Julia, Parker, Trevor, Levi, and Summer, as well as several nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.
Rose was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Chester Gloski; her sisters, Josephine Krol and Victoria Zabko, and her brothers Joseph Krol and Stanley Krol.
