ROCHESTER - Ruth M. Dexter, 93, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born at home in Milton on January 22, 1924, the daughter of Carl and Marion Burrows. Ruth was a graduate of Nute High School. She worked for many years in the shoe industry until retirement.
Ruth was truly a remarkable woman who had a deep devotion to God. Always smiling, she touched and warmed the hearts of her family and friends. She loved her family beyond measure and looked forward to the moments she would spend with each and every one of them. She had a love for animals, especially her granddog, Suzy.
Ruth was very active in the Women's Union and on many various committees at the Milton Community Church.
Ruth is survived by her five children, Lloyd Burrows and wife Nancy, Ernest Dexter and wife Pat, Calvin Dexter and wife Brenda, Randy Dexter, Linda Couture and husband, Ernest. She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: Juanita, Anna, Carlene, Frances, Luman, Malcolm, George, Edgar, Daniel.
