Seabrook woman arrested in Rochester knife attack

ROCHESTER - A Seabrook woman was arrested today in a stabbing on Maple Street in Rochester.

Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. to 77 Maple St. and learned that Elena O'Brien, 30, had beecame involved in a verbal dispute with a 29-year-old male, whom she allegedly stabbed in the left torso.

The man was taken by ambulance to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as serious but nonlife threatening injuries.

O'Brien was charged with first degree assault and was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail pending an arraignment next month in the Strafford County Superior Court.
