LEBANON - Selectman Paul Nadeau says he doesn't know if he'll run for selectmen again or not.

"I don't know, we'll see," he told The Rochester Voice on Monday.

Nadeau, 83, is a former longtime worker at the Lebanon Transfer Station and has taken on some informal oversight of the town department over several issues in the past few months.

Among them is the spike in demolition debris that is coming into the transfer station at an alarming rate, especially as compared to regular solid waste and recyclables, selectmen noted at their last meeting.

"I'm checking on it," Nadeau said. "But the population is growing, and when the economy is going good, people buy stuff and get rid of the old."

Nadeau added that he feels great, but is having a full physical in the next few weeks, and the results of that might determine whether he decides to run a second term for selectman or not.

Nomination papers for town office seekers will be available at Town Offices beginning on March 2.
