Severus, wise beyond his years, seeks a storybook ending

Meet Severus!

Severus is a two-year-old brown tabby cat that came to CVHS over three weeks ago as a stray. This handsome guy is waiting for a forever home where he can receive as much love as he gives.

He's a laid-back cat, but still has plenty of energy at the spry age of two. At the shelter, Severus can be seen climbing about his kitty towers and curiously gazing at visitors in the lobby each day. As soon as you approach him, he leaps down from his perch to wind around your legs in an affectionate greeting.

Severus's laid-back attitude indicates that he would do well in a family with children. He's had no issues with dogs, as long as they're tolerant of cats. Severus has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), so he needs to go to a home without other cats, unless those cats are also FIV positive.
