Sgt. Hayes of SCSO promoted to rank of lieutenant

Newly promoted Lt. Tracy Hayes

DOVER - The Strafford County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday that it has promoted Sgt. Tracy Hayes rank of lieutenant.

Hayes has been a member of the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Community since 2010, formerly working for the Rochester Police Department.

She has been with the Strafford County Sheriff's Office since 2015.

Hayes holds a master's in Organizational Leadership and business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Hayes will oversee staff assigned to the Transportation, Civil and K-9 Units as a mid-level commander within the operations division of the office.

She will be sworn in during a brief ceremony at a date to be determined by the end of November.
