ROCHESTER - Shirley (Roy) Cleveland, 70, died at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, N.H. after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Amesbury on June 6, 1945, daughter of the late Donal and Irene (Lusignant) Roy of Amesbury.
She is survived by her loving husband Herbert Cleveland of 10 years, her daughter Cheryl Woodyard, Shirley's grandchild from Cheryl is Joshua Adams, her daughter Melissa Lariviere, Shirley's grandchildren from Melissa are Miasha Trottier, Christine Trottier, and Nicholas Gannette. She was the mother of the late John Dollen.
She worked at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a submarine painter for many years. She was a CNA at several nursing facilities & housekeeper at Wentworth by the Sea in Rye before retiring.
