ROCHESTER - Hundreds of music lovers turned out to enjoy an eclectic blend of area musicians at Rochester's first-ever Porchfest on Sunday.

There were bands on rooftops, alleyways, parking lots and everywhere in between throughout the downtown with as many musical genres available as venues.

Along with the music were a couple of food trucks in the Union Street parking lot, which also had its own stage for musical groups.

Chief organizer and Rochester Opera House executive producer Anthony Ejarque said he was very pleased with the turnout both of bands and the public.

"This was a great turnout for the first year," he said.

After the festivities an after party was held in the Rochester Opera House with popular local band Red Sky Mary.
