ROCHESTER - Simonne I. Hamann, 101, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, N.H. She was born in Lewiston, Maine, February 23, 1916, the daughter of Adelard and Anastasie (Caron) Dulac.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, Rochester, N.H., and a member of the Ladies of Ste Anne Sodality.
She was the widow of Rodolphe Hamann. She was predeceased by two sons, Jean-Paul and Charles Hamann, three sisters, Mary-Jane Cote, Murielle Sullivan and Theresa Champagne and five brothers Marcel, Jean Paul, Emile, Willie and Maurice Dulac.
Survivors include three sons, Norbert, Donald and Bernard Hamann, all of Rochester, four daughters, Jacqueline Peters of Rochester, Doris Allard of Deltona, Fla., Venise Page of Vero Beach, Fla., and Catherine Mulville of Clinton, N.Y., 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, one brother, Roland Dulac of Eliot, Maine and several nieces and nephews.
