ROCHESTER - The Nirvana tribute band "Nirvanish," said to embody the energy of the group it so authentically replicates, will play the Rochester Opera House main stage for the first time next month.

Nirvanish, which is sponsored by The Lebanon Voice, produces the audio integrity of Nirvana's recorded work while capturing the electric fury that the group was known for on stage. Specializing in tribute performances of the entire 'Nevermind', 'In Utero', and 'Unplugged in New York' albums, Nirvanish adds well known singles for the passing fan and deep cuts for the die-hard grunge rocker.
Nirvanish captures the raw live experience for the many fans that didn't have the opportunity to see the legend in person. Touring the county, from their California home, Nirvanish is considered the best Nirvana tribute band in the nation.
The show starts at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7pm) on Friday, May 19. Reserve tickets online or call the box office (603) 335-1992, M/W/F from 10-5pm and 2-hours before the show.
The Rochester Opera House is sponsored by TD Bank North, Eastern Propane, Shaheen & Gordon P.A., and Norm Vetter Foundations. The Rochester Opera House is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH. Visit www.RochesterOperaHouse.com for more information.
