Snow removal parking ban will be in effect tonight

ROCHESTER - A Snow Removal Parking Ban is in effect from tonight at 10 p.m. till 7 a.m. on Wednesday in the areas listed below.

The Department of Public Works will be working on snow removal in the two downtown areas. The following streets will be affected.

Downtown Area Rochester
South Main St from Lambert to North Main St.
North Main St. From South Main St to Maple St.
Wakefield Street from South Main St. to Union Street.
Portland Street from Columbus Ave to Charles Street.
All of Union Street, Bridge Street, Hanson Street,
Central Ave, Liberty Street Granite St. Davyanne Locke Lane,
Charles from Congress St to Woodman St.

Downtown Area Gonic
Main Street from Colby Street to Pickering Road.
All of Colby Street, Church Street from Main Street to rear entrance to Gonic Mill
Railroad Avenue from Pickering Rd to the Gonic School.

No vehicle without an exemption permit may be parked on these city streets or in city parking lots during this time.
