ROCHESTER - A child was injured on Friday in a three-car collision on Washington Street.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Estes Road when police say Joshua Stacy, 19, of Rochester, was traveling west on Washington Street in a Volkswagen Jetta when he lost control and crossed the center line striking a Nissan Pathfinder driven by Summer Cavallaro of Lebanon, Maine.

The Jetta then struck the vehicle traveling behind the Pathfinder, a Ford F-150 operated by Devon Gibb of Barrington.

A juvenile passenger in the Pathfinder was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing seat belts.

All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

This collision occurred during a snow shower, and road conditions appear to have been a contributing factor in the collision, police said.
