Somersworth woman nabbed, $7,800 in cash seized in heroin trafficking bust

SOMERSWORTH - A Somersworth woman was arrested on several drug charges Wednesday after an investigation into her alleged trafficking in heroin as well as possession of other drugs including a quantity of edible cannabis products.

Mandy Campbell, 39, of 70 Winter St., #1C, was charged with a number of drug charges, being a habitual offender on traffic violations and indirect criminal contempt.

The investigation was conducted by Somersworth Police with assistance from the SCSO, State Police and DEA.

As a result of the probe some 43 grams of heroin, suboxone, trazadone and hydrocodone were seized as well as the edibles, marijuana and $7.800 in cash.

Campbell was held at Strafford County Jail pending arraignment.

Funding from the Granite State Shield Grant program was used in the probe.
