State Police, Game Wardens searching for missing skydiver

LEBANON, Maine - Maine State Police and Game Wardens are currently searching the area around Skydive New England for a skydive instructor who failed to land with his tandem student earlier this afternoon.

According to a news release from Skydive New England, the student landed around 2 p.m. without the instructor after what was called "an uneventful freefall."

The student landed the tandem parachute in the landing area near the airport without incident.
