NASHUA - Stephen D. Roy, 59, of Nashua, died on Monday, November 14, 2016. He was born on June 21, 1957, in Rochester, son of the late Robert Roy and Elizabeth (Cummings) Roy.
Stephen attended Spaulding High School in Rochester, N.H., before receiving his bachelor's degree from Lowell Tech. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard for five years, and was stationed in Japan and Johnston Atoll during his time in the service. He had a long career of 32 years at BAE Systems of Nashua as a Senior Principle Systems Engineer. Stephen enjoyed playing golf, having lunch with his friends, spending time with family and following New England Sports.
Stephen leaves behind his sister, Kathleen Gardner, and her wife, Jennifer Hall; his brother, Robert "Skip" Roy and his wife, Dena; his brother, Thomas Roy; his nephew, Cory Gardner and his husband, Joseph Bragdon; his nephew, Timothy Gardner, and his wife, Kirby; his nephew, Dave Roy and his wife, Nichole; his niece, Michelle Hargrove, and her husband, Bill; his niece, Kelly Roy; as well as several great nieces and nephews and his entire BAE family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
