ROCHESTER - Two actors... 15 characters... Cows. This is Irish storytelling at its finest.

"Stones in His Pockets," presented by PerSeverance Productions, will run from tonight through March 31 at the Rochester Performance and Arts Center on North Main.

The play by Marie Jones won the UK's prestigious Olivier Award in 2001 as Best Comedy.

It is considered a magical piece of theatrical genius and is both hilarious and heartbreaking, a witty and beautifully crafted tragicomedy.

"Stones" examines the exploitative and dysfunctional relationship when Hollywood takes over a small town in rural Ireland.

The RPAC is located at 32 North Main St., Rochester.

Tickets are $15 with showtimes at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Saturday and Sunday as well as the same three nights next weekend.
