Strafford County Jail death attributed to natural causes

DOVER, N.H. - The inmate found dead in his Strafford County jail cell in early March died of natural causes, a U.S. Marshall's Service spokesman said today.

Reno Joseph Demesmin, 28, who had been at the jail for 16 weeks, had been a federal prisoner.

Results of the autopsy were not released.

The initial investigation was conducted by the Strafford County Sheriff's Office with assistance of the Dover Police Department's forensics team.
