ROCHESTER - Sylvia (Vincent) Harmon, 77, formerly of Western Ave., was called to be with the Lord Sunday, February 11, 2018 after a brief illness. Born October 1, 1940 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Shirley Lance.
Sylvia has lived in Rochester for most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing the organ and doing word search. She also enjoyed spending time with her two daughters.
Members of her family include the late father of her children, Maurice Vincent; her daughters Valerie Callahan and husband Timothy of Rochester and Diana Rousseau of Rochester; her son Steven Vincent and his wife Robin of Rochester; her grandchildren Lisa, Tyler, Jonathan, Jaiden and Caeleb; her step mother Mary Tucker; her half-brothers Mark, Gary and Kenny Lance; her half-sisters Donna Bassett and Larona Jarest; as well as many cousins and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her late husband Maurice Harmon and a son, Larry Vincent.
