SOMERSWORTH - Timothy T. Legere, Sr., 56, of Somersworth, died peacefully Tuesday, April 3, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 5, 1961 in Portsmouth, the son of Aldef and Doris (Cormier) Legere.
A lover of pizza, fishing, and falling asleep during movies, he lived his life as a happy guy with his partner, Patti. Timothy spent his young adult years raising two kids as a loving, fun, single dad. He worked hard, running a chimney sweeping business with his brother and working a full time job to give his kids a good life. In recent years, he was able to spend his days on the ocean, living his dream. With his brother, he ran Reel Brothers, a charter fishing business out of Wells, Maine. He enjoyed spending time in Florida. His happiest days were spent on the ocean with his loved ones.
Members of his family include his life partner, Patricia Barker of Somersworth; his mother, Doris Legere of Micco, Florida; two children, T. Tyler Legere, Jr. of Dover and Gretchin Aviles and her husband, Alex of Hampton; two grandchildren, Mason Legere and Lydia Aviles; three siblings, Dennis Legere, Lynne Golden and Cyndi Legere all of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
