LEBANON, Maine - Tracey Lee Varney, 55, of South Portland, died unexpectedly on Dec. 29, 2018, in Lebanon.

Tracey was born in Dover, N.H., daughter of Roger L. and Leah Frances Moore Varney and graduated from Somersworth High School the class of 1981.

She was a longtime certificated nursing assistant in Maine and New Hampshire and she also worked at the Timberland Shoe Company of Stratham, N.H., for over 13 years.

She was an avid fan of Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Roger and Leah Varney.

She is survived by her companion Ada Sirois of South Portland; three brothers, Charles Varney and his wife Beverly of Exeter, N.H., Roy Remick and his wife Shanon of Somersworth, N.H. and Roger Remick and his wife Danielle of Rollinsford, N.H., and her nephews Roy Remick Jr. and Robert Remick III and her niece Renee Remick.
