Trump's wide appeal shows in mix of supporters

ROCHESTER - Sixteen-year-old Alexa Kaiser, a junior at Spaulding High School, said America needs a man like Donald Trump in the White House.

"I like Trump because he's really bold, and that's what this country needs right now," she said.

Kaiser said she and her friend, Jillian Bailey, also a junior, had no trouble getting tickets for the free town-hall style event held at the Rochester Athletic Arena on Thursday night and were thrilled to see the GOP frontrunner in action.

Meanwhile, Andy Trush of Rochester said Trump is saying "what we've all been thinking for some time, that Congress needs to change its ways and until we take care of this we'll be in a lot of trouble."

He said he was a longtime Independent but recently decided to go Republican.

He also said the media in nitpicking with Trump, and that he may be rough on the edges but he's not a politician and that what he's been doing is exactly what we need."

"I have very little doubt he'd lose to Hillary," he added.
