Two arrested in area heroin trafficking

DOVER, N.H. - Two Rochester residents were arrested last month on heroin trafficking charges after a monthslong investigation by county drug task force agents.

James Brown, 28, of 37 Unity St. in Rochester, was charged with two counts of Sale of the Controlled Drug heroin in Somersworth and Rochester, at least once in a Rochester school zone. Brown's original $10,000.00 cash bail was converted to personal recognizance to include acceptance into Strafford County Community Corrections with GPS monitoring on June 30.

Angela Hodgson, 35, of 37 Unity St., is charged as an accomplice to the sale of heroin in Somersworth. Hodgson was released on $5,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Rochester Circuit Court later this month.

The arrests were conducted after several months of investigation by the Strafford County Drug Task Force and Rochester Police Department.
