Two injured in head-on crash on Rochester Hill Road

ROCHESTER - Two motorists were injured in a head-on crash on Rochester Hill Road on Wednesday.

The collision occurred around 5:10 p.m. in the area of 60 Rochester Hill Road when police say Yari Allard, 35, of Rochester, was operating a blue Ford Focus traveling north when the vehicle entered the southbound lane and struck a Hyundai Sonata occupied by a juvenile driver and passenger.

Allard and the passenger in the Sonata were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

The clash caused the road to be closed briefly.

The collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact Rochester Police.
