DOVER, N.H. - Four Rochester residents arrested in two city home invasion on two consecutive nights last month were arraigned on Monday afternoon with the two men alleged to have actually entered the dwellings held on high bail while their two alleged female accomplices were released on personal recognizance.

Jacob Barrett, 23, of 84 Milton Road; and Rian Luther, 33, of 34 Chestnut St., were both charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of simple assault, and one count of falsifying physical evidence. They are both being held at Strafford County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Meanwhile, Cory-Lyn Luther, 27, of 34 Chestnut St.; and Amber Glennon, 22, of 61 Hanson St., are both charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and falsifying physical evidence. They were both released on personal-recognizance, but will be monitored by GPS.

The first home invasion was reported on May 21 around 4:45 a.m. as Rochester Police responded to the Sunset Village Motel on Milton Road for a report of an armed robbery. Police say two masked males forced their way into the room with the two suspects pointing handguns at a male and female victim demanding drugs. The suspects left after obtaining money and a small amount of marijuana. The victims were not injured.

The next morning around 2:10 a.m. Rochester Police responded to 30 Front St. for a report of a male who was attacked and beaten with a baseball bat while inside his home.

Upon police arriving on scene they were able to learn the victim had been home when two males entered his residence one striking the victim in the head with a bat and the other pointing a handgun at him. The victim was able to escape from his residence and call 911 as the suspects fled. The victim was transported to Frisbie Memorial hospital for non-life threatening injuries by EMS.

As a result of the ongoing investigation detectives were able to connect both events and develop suspects. On Friday Rochester Police arrested Cori-Lyn Luther.

The second female suspect, Glennon, was arrested late Friday when Rochester Police encountered a vehicle matching the description of one possibly involved in the robberies and assault. When an officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle by the Rochester Fairgrounds a male passenger believed to be Barrett immediately exited the vehicle and jumped over a fence, running into the Rochester Fairgrounds. A perimeter was set up and a K9 track attempted, but Barrett was not located.

Glennon, who was also in the vehicle, was taken into custody without incident.

Then on Saturday Bennett surrendered to Rochester Police, while Rian Luther was picked up soon afterward at a Rogers Street residence in Dover by Dover Police.
